The start of school and fall activities brings a new schedule, a new routine and an adjustment period as we settle in – and that’s when things are “normal!” We all know that good nutrition is an important part of staying healthy and maintaining a strong immune system, but remembering how to apply that knowledge when grocery shopping and deciding what to make for dinner can be difficult, especially when you’re just trying to make sure everyone gets out the door on time with everything they need.

We can’t cook dinner or pack your kids’ lunches for you (bummer!) but we know that meal planning can be overwhelming, and we can help you with that! Mercer Health’s Center for Healthy Weight & Wellness is now offering three options for meal plans and grocery shopping lists – a full four week meal plan (includes breakfast, lunch, supper and snacks), a two week meal plan for school lunches and a one week slow cooker meal plan.

The shopping lists for each plan include fruits and vegetables, fiber and healthy fats and nutrient dense foods to help assist you in building healthy and nutritious meals to maintain a well-rounded diet. Meals will include shelf-stable items and can be customized, based on your needs.

To receive your free meal plan, simply fill out the online request form, select your plan option and a Registered Dietitian will contact you within 5 business days.
