In times of stress and uncertainty, we can sometimes struggle with making decisions about the things that are within our control – like what to eat. We all know that good nutrition is an important part of staying healthy and maintaining a strong immune system, but remembering how to apply that knowledge when grocery shopping and deciding what to make for dinner can be difficult, especially during situations like the one we’re all experiencing now.
One of the most important tools to help you succeed in healthy eating is meal planning… but where to start? There are endless meal plans available online, but they’re often not customizable and may not fit your needs. Pinterest is a great tool to help you come up with your own meal plan – but it can be so overwhelming! We know that meal planning can be daunting – and we want to be able to help ease your stress during this time.
Mercer Health’s Center for Healthy Weight & Wellness is now offering FREE weekly meal plans and grocery shopping lists. The shopping lists, for a family of four, include fruits and vegetables, fiber and healthy fats and nutrient dense foods to help assist you in building healthy and nutritious meals to maintain a well-rounded diet. Meals will include shelf-stable items and can be customized, based on your needs.
To receive your free meal plan, simply fill out a form on our website and a Registered Dietitian will contact you with your first weekly meal plan within 5 business days.
